After graduating from Cambridge High School located in St. James, Jamaica, Cavel explored the hospitality industry by serving as a general service provider eventually promoted to hospitality manager for over seven years at Secrets St. James located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. After meeting thousands of tourists over the years at the luxury resort, Cavel saw the demand for tourists to have safe and private tourism services. It was then that he decided to create Palmer Tours Jamaica where he serves as a private tour guide, manager, and trainer to other service providers of Palmer Tours Jamaica.
